Haoshin Chang is an artist, researcher and educator that crosses over fields of Science Studies, STS, and Art, Science and Technology (AST). Graduated in Life Science at Taiwan University and later received M.F.A. at Taipei University of the Arts, he has involved in various academic fields, including Academia Sinica Biodiversity Research Center and Roy Ascott Detao Studio. He has presented works and research in ISEA, Aichi Arts Center, China Art Academy, Shenzhen Media Festival and Shanghai. He is the founding member of Bioart.tw and Archipelago.tw, two autonomous communities based in Taipei focusing on issues of citizen science, civil technology and gender culture and movements.
