Karolina Sulich is a post-artist, her academic background is in Fine Arts and Liberal Arts (Warsaw University). Her work can be situated on intersection of science, social science and art. Through her works she is exploring connections between humans, biology and technology. She is interested in speculative ideas such as possibility of photosynthetic bioprint merged with human skin, designer animals, mutations driven by environmental change. She is educating herself in molecular biology. She also advocates for open science and popularisation of science through writing, public appearances, workshops. Karolina closely collaborates with Stanisław Łoboziak, head of biology laboratory at the Copernicus Science Center. Recently she curated in Warsaw exhibition “…endless forms most beautiful”, where she exhibited outcome of this collaboration and works of the Austrian artist Günter Seyfried. She is based in Warsaw, Poland.
