Independent tutor, curator and journalist specialised in sustainable design.
I was born in Buenos Aires, taught in London (Eco-Design, Goldsmiths, 2007) and Eindhoven (MA Design Curating & Writing, Design Academy Eindhoven, 2017), where I’m based. I’ve been working solely on sustainable design education for the past 10 years doing research, archives, exhibitions, workshops, whole festivals, giving conferences, consultancy and journalism (Inhabitat.com). Nowadays my heart is on teaching a class called makematerialsense (since September 2017, two months after I graduated), for 2nd year BA students at DAE, with a focus on biomaterials, biodesign and human senses. It’s a one-of-a-kind programme that offers students the opportunity to fully explore and experiment with a single material for 6 months, stretching the possibilities of what matter could be or do, aided by bio-hackers and the Precious Plastic machines.
