Ana Zhivotov is an undergraduate chemical engineering student. She is most passionate about the genetic potential for transformation of cyanobacteria. Currently, she has been developing a height-to-age database for subalpine conifers with the hopes of a speedy publication. Ana works as a science enrichment teacher for students under the age of 12 traveling across her state with a box of science experiments. She hopes to continue her education with a PhD from the University of Helsinki starting in 2020. Outside of the lab, Ana loves hiking and bouldering around Colorado, experiencing new cultures worldwide, and enjoying a new spot to dine during every journey. Ask not how you can help Ana, but how can Ana help you?
