Arthur Rowland

Founder, Plastic Tactics

Arthur is the founder of Plastic Tactics, a social enterprise that gives people control over their plastic. Plastic Tactics engages the public at community events and festivals with hands-on, on-site plastic transformation workshops. He is leading the set up of a plastic laboratory embedded in the local community, an inclusive space for people to turn their household waste into functional products.

Arthur has a background in engineering, product design, environmental outreach, and draws on these skills into play to advocate for local action and creating a community around plastic positivity in Liverpool. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Liverpool and supervises engineering projects around small-scale plastic recycling and and on-campus circular economy.
