Christi Guerrini, JD, MPH, is an assistant professor in Baylor College of Medicine’s Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy, where she teaches and conducts research at the intersection of law, innovation, health, and ethics. In 2016, Christi received a K01 award from the National Human Genome Research Institute to study ownership interests in citizen science. Christi received a JD from Harvard Law School, an MPH from the University of Texas School of Public Health, and a BA with Highest Honors from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining BCM, Christi litigated intellectual property and commercial disputes across a spectrum of industries as an attorney in private practice. She has published in Science, Nature Biotechnology, and Journal of Law and the Biosciences, among other scientific and legal journals.
