Centre for Research and Interdisciplinarity (Paris France)
Divvya is a life sciences master student in CRI, Paris. She is a budding scientist and a professional artist and musician who is interested in exploring the many unexpected and serendipitous connections between science, philosophy, culture, art, and music, and is fueled by coalescing interdisciplinary, often unrelated, ideas into sustainable solutions and innovations. Her research interests span a broad range of topics focusing largely on the ultimate and proximal explanations to the existence of life and variation in forms and collective behaviour across different biological scales. She believes that scientists and artists make natural partners and that there is great potential when they collaborate from the offset, resulting in unexpected outcomes that can be exponentially more valuable than when they work apart.
