Iqra is an independent biomedical researcher and a post-grad student at National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Pakistan. Her research focuses on the development of plant-based treatment strategies for cancer. Besides, she works on the omics perspective of biologically active molecules for the treatment of various maladies. She is an active member of local community biospaces and regularly organizes and participates in DIYbio workshops focusing on open source hardware and democratization of biotechnology.
