Lilian (1991) was born and raised in Santa Cruz de la Sierra,
Bolivia. Her strong interest in genetics motivated her to study biotechnology
in Germany earning a BSc degree in Biotechnology. Currently she is finishing the Master Program in Biotechnology at the Technical University of Berlin. Lilian got selected in 2017 as a Latin American Leader to attend the first version of the AllBiotech summit and was named afterwards ambassador to Bolivia and Europe from this organization. In 2018 her sustainability biotech project won first place at the VoT (Voices of Tomorrow) competition at the GapSummit conference . Since then she has been working together with her partner in the development of the startup ChinoSAN, which aims to make use of the power of enzymes to replace chemical processes for the production of chitin derivatives.
