Interdisciplinary Artist and Researcher (Baltimore, MD)
As an interdisciplinary artist and researcher, I research avenues within the intersection of art, design, technology, ecology, and biology—what this space looks like now and what I can learn and how I can positively add to the discussion and effort to problem-solve issues we face today from bodily to environmental and personal to systemic level. Based in industrial and ethnographic research and writings, my studio practice culminates in written and sculptural forms that act as case studies in an effort to more wholly understand ourselves in our immediate contemporary networks. In researching the commercial, industrial, and technological networks we are inherently connected to, my work examines the unseen effects that socio-tech-environmental change have on us as individuals and throughout our interpersonal relationships. My work serves as moments of ecological meditation within the network of these systems.
